The short version
Your eye photo is analyzed entirely inside your browser, on your device. It is never uploaded to our servers, never stored by us, and never used to identify you. The only things that ever leave your device are the derived color data (hex codes and percentages), and — if you make a purchase — your email address and payment details handled by Stripe.
What we are — and what we are not
- We do not perform identity verification, iris recognition, or biometric matching.
- We do not create an iris ID or store iris templates.
- Iris Analyzer is a color and aesthetic analysis tool, not a biometric identification system.
The analysis extracts color information (dominant hues, percentages, palette) from your photo. It does not extract, compute, or retain any feature that could be used to recognize or identify you.
How the analysis works
When you upload or capture an eye photo, all image processing runs locally in your browser using on-device computer vision. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools (Network tab) during an analysis — no image data is transmitted.
If you choose to generate a paid pack, we send only the derived color data (color names, hex codes, percentages, and similar metrics) to our servers to create your content. The photo itself stays on your device.
What we store on your device
Your photo and analysis results are kept in your browser's local storage so you don't lose them between pages. This data is encrypted on your device using your browser's built-in Web Crypto, with a key that never leaves your browser. Clearing your browser data removes it completely. We have no copy.
What we collect when you purchase
- Email address — used to deliver your purchased content and provide purchase support.
- Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Derived color data — the non-identifying color metrics described above, used only to generate your content.
Third-party services
- Stripe — payment processing.
- AI providers (via OpenRouter) — receive only derived color data to generate pack content. They never receive your photo.
- Email delivery — used to send purchased content to the address you provide.
Analytics
We use privacy-focused product analytics to understand how the site is used (page views, feature usage, anonymized funnel events). We do not sell personal data, and analytics never includes your photos or analysis images.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Because we hold almost no personal data, most rights are satisfied by design: your photos and analysis never reach us. For data we do hold (purchase emails and transaction records), you may request access, correction, or deletion at any time by contacting us. We honor applicable rights under the GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations.
Children
Iris Analyzer is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes & contact
We will update this page if our practices change, and we will never weaken the core guarantee — on-device analysis — without clear, prominent notice. Questions or requests: support@irisanalyzer.com.
